I finally have a new computer! Guys, guuuys! Do you know what this means?! It means updates! Updates for everyone!!  

I joined DeviantART forever ago due to my best friend's recommendation. It was during that mid-2000 period where most computer owners were still changing over to high speed internet and the halt in production of 2D Disney movies was still a fairly fresh wound. After creating my account, I didn't pay any attention to it for years, probably because my family was slow in joining the bandwagon and we were still using an agonizingly slow dial-up connection on a Windows 98 computer.

When I finally did start posting on DeviantART, only smudgy traditional drawings cluttered my gallery until I had started to work on a Bleach fan-manga. It was fun and I had actually finished drawing the whole first chapter, but I couldn't bring my self to scan and edit the new pages because I had lost a customized painting tool in Photoshop and for the life of me couldn't find the original download link. From there on out, my art submissions started to dwindle until I had stopped posting altogether, and even stopped drawing (other then for art class) for a couple of years.

Just like with my drawing, I had also stopped writing fanfiction, and it wasn't until Christmas of 2013 that I decided it was time to push myself away from the tight clutches of World of Warcraft and get my butt into gear. That's when I made this account!

I started off with some traditional drawings, painstakingly edited in Paint for hours and hours. One of these deviations was a comic for a contest involving the characters for a Skyrim webcomic that I'm currently working on. I was so determined to finish it within a set amount of time that I didn't sleep for over 24 hours.

After that I finally decided to get Paint Tool Sai. I'm unashamed to admit my ridiculous fascination and obsession with Mass Effect. For quite a while I had an idea involving Doctor Who and Mass Effect and decided to make my first digital painting (in a looooong time) be a comic. This comic took weeks to finish and there were plenty of trial and errors and setbacks and frustrated noises of despair involved in its creation. Nonetheless I am proud of the finished result of all my blood, sweat and tears, and was inspired to continue making more Mass Effect/Doctor Who comics. I'm currently working on one now in fact, but production is delayed due to my need of a new computer.
Some time around this point I had also caved into the incessant nagging plot bunnies and decided to get back into writing by practicing with a reader-insert series. For some reason I have copious amounts of story ideas for Attack on Titan, despite it being a fandom that I'm not very invested in and have no obsessive feelings towards.

Since I'm a weirdo, I also have fascination with peculiar pairings, such as GhostxHuman relationships (I also ship plenty of miscellaneous characters with Shepard in Mass Effect). I then developed an idea for an Attack on Titan reader insert with the reader being a ghost, as well as an insert with a Ghost!LevixHuman!Reader pairing (which I haven't gotten around to writing yet). Originally intended as a oneshot, I started another fanfiction that was just too long to be one submission, and thus had to be divided into roughly 12 chapters.

Out of the blue, I also had the idea to make a oneshot and the feedback I had received was tremendously large and positive. I was very giddy to see all the comments in my inbox. The shortest story I've written yet, it is also the most popular one to date.

I've also tried my hand at more serious digital paintings for practice, and have learned a lot in the process. Of course there are plenty of things that I would go back and change, but I'd rather devote my time to creating new artwork with the tips and tricks I have learned from trial and error, advice and tutorials.

Heya, guys.

So, for the next couple of weeks I will be busy preparing for Comiccon which is from May 9th-11th. My goal is to make three costumes (not from scratch, thankfully) so I don't know how much time I'll have to write and draw. I'll try updating within that time period, but if I end up being inactive, then this is the reason why. I'll still reply to comments, manage and the 200 Points Giveaway, but I can't guarantee any regular updates until Comiccon is over.

The costumes I'm aiming to make are:

Starfire from Teen Titans

Ty Lee from Avatar: The Last Airbender

Wigs are expensive and hard to find where I live, so I've chosen these costumes because I have similar hair length/colour to all three. Anna shares some of the same features as me (blue eyes, freckles, and hair length/colour), and since I don't have enough time, resources, and money this year, this will probably be the first costume I complete and the one I will focus on the most.

I've never really posted any of my cosplay photos before. I was thinking about using one for my DA ID. Would anyone be interested in seeing them when they're finished? That is, if they don't suck so bad that I burn them before any photos can be taken
